She was born here and had always lived in this vicinity. Her maiden name was Miss Iva Welter. She is survived by five children and her husband, Edward Bassett, all of this place; one sister of Geneva and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Welter of Dundee. The funeral was held at the home of her parents this afternoon, the Rev. Thomas Carter officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery.
