Anthony Carl Bassett Carl Bassett was born on March 23, 1963 in Turner, AR. He left this world to be with the lord on Wednesday September 27, 2017 at 6:20 p.m. in his home in Columbia Heights, MN surrounded by family. Carl was raised in Hammond, IN; spent most of his adult life in Terre Haute, IN and later moved to Minnesota. Carl was preceded in death by his loving parents, Earl and Earnestine Bassett and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He leaves behind his loving wife Pamela Brown-Bassett of Columbia Heights, MN; children: Murjani Bassett, Mario Bassett and Carlin Bassett of Minneapolis, MN, Armon Bassett of Terre Haute, IN, Micole Beverly of Hammond, IN, Asiah Bassett of Indianapolis, IN; step-children: Jermaine Walker and Kendra Wright of Columbia Heights, MN; father, Ernest (Evelyn) Jackson of Chicago IL; sisters and brothers: Earl Bassett III of Minneapolis, MN, Damon (Brenda) Bassett of Brooklyn Park, MN, Carmen (Russell) Rhea of Brooklyn Center, MN, Kelly (Elijah) Wright of Brooklyn Park, MN, Michael Bassett of Minneapolis, MN; five grandkids and host of aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews. His visitation and home going service will be held Friday October 6, 2017 at New Community Baptist Church, 5461 Calumet Ave., Hammond IN.
