BASSETT - Formerly of Taunton, Jan. 30, 1998, in Sandwich, Bertha A. Bassett,
105 years, widow of Howard R. Bassett, Sr.; mother of the late Howard R.
Bassett Jr.; mother-in-law of Georgia Bassett of Sandwich, with whom she made
her home; grandmother of Deborah Palmer and Meredith Smythe of Taunton, Sarah
Bassett of Cotiut and Eric Bassett of New Bedford; great-grandmother of five.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be
held in the North Taunton Baptist Church, 1940 Bay Street, Taunton, Tuesday at
11 AM. Interment in Bassett Cemetery, Taunton. Visiting hours are omitted.
Arrangements by the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton,
MA. Donations in her memory may be made to the North Taunton Baptist Church.
