Rev. R.G. Finley officiated. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery. The bearers were Jerry Faloon, Benjamin Bassett, Harry Smith, Dr. H.L. Frost, Newman Hinkley of Rutland and William Bassett of Springfield, Mass. Relatives from out of town included Mr. and Mrs. Earl Anson, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Anson, Ford and Olive Anson of Westport, N.Y., Mrs. Lloyd Huntley of Lewis, N.Y. and many from Rutland and Brandon. Mrs. Bassett died at her home Friday after a long illness. She was born in Hubbardton, May 20, 1877, the daughter of Dwight and Lydia Bassett.
