      Services Condcuted This Morning at Hart?s Chapel

      Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Andrews Bass, resident of the Cochran Short Route, whose death occurred in a local hospital at 9:30 a.m. yesterday, after an illness of a week, were held in the chapel of Hart?s Mortuary at 10 a.m. today. Rev. Theo Pharr, pastor of the Cross Keys Methodist Chruch, and Rev. E.M. Shelton, pastor of the Nazarene church, officiated and interment was in the Cary, Ga., cemetery.
      Pallbearers were G. C. Andrews, S.F. Andrwes, J.W. Andrews, H. A. Andrews, M. N. Andrews and Y. N. Caldwell.
      Mrs. Bass was born in ths county and had lived here all of her life. She was a member of the Cross Keys Methodist Church.
      Surviving are her husband, S.T. Bass, two sons, Leon and S.T. Jr., a daughter Miss Flora Opal Bass; frou brothers, S.F.,and G.C. Andrews, Macon; J.W. Andrews, Valdosta, and H.A. Andrews, Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. F.B. Caldwell and Mrs. W.T. Darity of Macon.
