  Notes	The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia, July 14, 2005 Rubye Kathryn Snider Mrs. Rubye Kathryn Snider, age 91, died Tuesday, evening July 12, 2005 at Fountain View Center in Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2005 from Briarcliff United Methodist Church in Atlanta, with the Rev. Sondra R. Jones officiating. A graveside service with interment will follow at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2005 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Americus, with the Rev. Jim McIlrath officiating. Mrs. Snider was born the daughter of the late Omer Stevenson Bass and Meta Ruby Walters Bass on July 13, 1913. She was a supervisor for AAFES before her retirement and was a very active member of the Briarcliff United Methodist Church in Atlanta before her illness, and was previously a member of the First United Methodist Church in Americus before moving to Atlanta. Mrs. Snider was preceded in death by her late husband Jimmie Lowe Snider, Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1512-1 Gillionville Road, Albany, Ga 31707.
