Died
On Wednesday March 12 at his home in Douglass, Mr. D Sally at the ripe old age of 79 years. The deceased was born in the state of Maine in 1811. He came to Olmsted county in 1855, since which time he has resided on the same farm on which he had settled. Mr. Sally leaves a wife and eight children, three sons and five daughters. The funeral services will be held at the residence on Saturday next, at 2 o'clock p. m.

Mr. Daniel Salley, one of the pioneers of New Haven, died the morning of the 12th, after a brief illness. He will not be buried until Saturday, so as to give his children, who all but one reside at a distance, time to get here before the funeral. Mr. Salley was seventy-nine years old, a native of Maine, and came to this place in June, 1855, where he has since resided. He was an upright, honest man and was most esteemed by those who knew him best. He leaves a wife and eight sons and daughters to mourn his loss.
