  Notes	The Rutland Herald, 16 Dec 2009 Stanley Bassett WEBSTER, Fla. – Stanley Bassett, 74, died Dec. 14, 2009. He was born in Bridgewater, Vt., July 3, 1935, the son of Elwin and Bernice (Miner) Bassett. Mr. Bassett was employed for many years at J.P. Carrara and Sons Concrete in North Clarendon, Vt. Survivors include a son, Stanley “Chipper” Morse of West Rutland, Vt.; a granddaughter; a sister, Geraldine Whittemore of Pittsford, Vt.; a brother, Durwood Bassett of Webster and Rutland, Vt.; his companion, Virginia Wright of Webster; a niece, two nephews, two great-nephews and a great-niece. He was predeceased by a niece. The memorial service and burial will be held at a later date in Vermont. Arrangements are under the direction of the Purcell Funeral Home in Bushnell.
