Mr. Bassett, a retired assistant department manager at Rhodes of Seattle, died Saturday at his home, 2538 30th Av. S., after a brief illness. A native of Chicago, Mr. Bassett lived nine years in Spokane before coming to Seattle. He retired three years ago after 29 years? service with the store.
