  Notes	Obituary Jesse Rust Died Monday California Pioneer Passes Away at W.J. Rust Home at Flagstaff Jesse Rust died at the residence of his son, W.J. Rust, in Flagstaff yesterday afternoon of heart disease and other ailments incident to old age. He had been sick for some time. The body will be shipped on the Redondo to Sacramento where burial will be made in the family burial plot. He had practically made his home with his son, W.J. Rust for the past three years, altho he has called his trips to Coos Pay only visits. He arrived here on his last visit last November. There will be no services except at the final obsequies in Sacramento. He was a consistent member of the Christian church. Mr. Rust was born in Mercer county, Ohio, November 29, 1834. In 1863, he crossed the plains with an ox team to California and the balance of his life was spent in Central California. He was married February 20, 1856, to Mary Bassett in Adams county, Ill. Three children were born to them and all survive. They are W.J. Rust of Marshfield, C.B. Rust of Sacramento, Calf., and J. B. Rust of Elmira, Cal. Mrs. Rust died December 13, 1899, at Sacramento.
