Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 15, 1997 at the Callaway Memorial Cemetery in Fulton, Missouri with the Reverand David Church officiating. Visitation was Sunday, September 14, 1997 at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton, MO. Mrs. Bass was born December 30, 1894, to John and Katie Layson Wise. She married Everett Bass on April 28, 1915, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Richland Baptist Church in Kingdom City, MO. Survivors include five sons, Billy Bass of Columbia, MO, Noah Bass of Las Vegas, NV, Everett Bass Jr., of San Jose, CA, Raymond Bass of Bakersville, CA, and John Bass of Thousand Oaks, CA; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
